High Def Gay Sex is one of the latest gay porn sites offering high-definition videos. The site features a variety of guys in their twenties having all kinds of gay sex – blowjobs, anal sex, and threesome sex. While High Def Gay Sex isn't a bareback sex site, there certainly are some scenes where the guys aren't using condoms. They upload a new streaming, high-definition movie every week. And offering a $1.00 trial for seven days, High Def Gay Sex really wants you to experience the amazing quality of high-definition video on the Web. And let me tell you, it's pretty fucking amazing. The picture is so clear that you feel as if you're in the room watching these guys getting it on. I've seen many other high-definition video sites and I never understood what all the hype was about. But I'm guessing I wasn't seeing true high-definition video. High Def Gay Sex offers the real thing and it sizzles.

The site had all of their content created exclusively for them, and a large portion of the guys are Eastern European. The site opened almost exclusively with Eastern European guys having gay sex. But over the last several updates they have been expanding their horizons to include other types of guys as well. Most of the guys have average to well-built bodies. And while the guys are in their twenties, they're aren't many twinks to speak of. And there are quite a few threesome gay sex scenes, which is always fun to watch.

The High Def Gay Sex member's area is easy to navigate and cleanly designed. Top of screen navigation lets you surf through the site easily without getting lost or confused. They have a Videos and Photos section, which both contain the same content except in the two different formats. I can see this as a bonus for a lot of people, but I prefer to have all of a guy's videos and photos accessible on the same page. You can download the videos in high, medium, and low resolutions, depending on your Internet connection. I have a high-speed connection and it only took about 20 minutes to download a high-quality video, and that's not bad considering that the video is high-definition and excellent quality.

I was quite impressed with the quality of these high-definition gay sex videos. The videos are remarkably clear and well worth the time and effort of shooting in high-definition. The thing that wowed me the most was that scaleable videos. Once I downloaded them, I grabbed my video player and started resizing the video. Normally you'll experience some degradation in the video quality the larger you resize, but I was able to enlarge their videos to fill my entire 21-inch monitor and the movie was still crystal clear. This is impressive.

High Def Gay Sex lets you stream or download the videos, which is always a great option. The videos are available in Windows Media Player and QuickTime format, and you can even download movies for your iPod. I particularly like the download option because it lets us build up our own private video collections, and then, we can kick back and watch them whenever we want. The photo content is large as well and filled up most of my 21-inch monitor – perfect for making desktop wallpaper.

The High Def Gay Sex member's area offers 33 videos and photo galleries (at the time of this review) and as I said, they're adding a new video every week. They also give you access to gay sex plugins Rear Stable, Bare, Treasure Island, Fratmen, and over 50 more video products. So that gives a lot of extra value to your membership dollar. You couldn't possibly watch this much gay porn in one month, could you? These plugins feature a wide variety of men from bears to muscle to Asians and twinks, so there really is lots of variety for all tastes. High Def Gay Sex also offers access to a live web cam called Stroke 4 U, but access is fairly limited and it's really more of an upsell and that a bonus. If you want to talk to the guys with any kind of nudity, you'll have to buy time in the Stroke 4 U system.

High Def Gay Sex doesn't have clear thumbnails. Essentially what they've done is taken the lazy webmaster's way of designing their site. Rather than making clear and properly sized thumbnails, they simply insert the enlarged picture into the thumbnail table and reconfigure the dimensions to be displayed as a thumbnail in your browser. This makes for distorted thumbnails and it's difficult to see what's happening in the picture. And because the site is downloading all of the enlarged photos on the thumbnail page, it makes for a very slow download. You've got to wait for all of those big photos to download before you can begin to figure out which pictures you actually want to see. They're also using bitmap format instead of jpegs and this slows things down even further since bitmaps are so much large files than jpegs.

High Def Gay Sex lost most of its marks in the quantity of content category because it's a fairly new site. With only 33 videos it only scores 4 points on The Pig's scale. (Sites with over 100 galleries get a full ten points.) However, because they offer over 50 plugin video products, I bumped their score up to 8 points.

I have been fairly unimpressed with most high-definition sites that I've seen up until now. I think a lot of sites are misusing the "high definition" moniker to lure surfers into their sites. And that's a shame because when a great site like High Def Gay Sex comes along, a lot of surfers are going to be leery. That's unfortunate because High Def Gay Sex is a true high-definition site and the quality is well worth the price of admission. And I was particularly turned on because the site offered so much foreskin, and you should know by now that The Pig is a foreskin hound.
