At first glance Get Your Fixxx is raw and dirty. Guys flash in front of a graffiti-painted wall and it looks hot. Unfortunately the urge dies in a click. Once inside the free preview area, we're presented with fuzzy images on a peacock blue background. Talk about a buzz kill. The site's designer should have carried the dark and foreboding background and graphics through out the site because it looks hot. And for goodness sake, clean up the images you're using to entice visitors into your site. No surfer is going to be tempted by fuzzy and over-optimized images. A bad tour usually means that what's inside isn't much better, and in the case of Get Your Fixxx, your initial impression would be right.

This is too bad because Get Your Fixxx really does feature a lot of hot guys. The site owners are located in West Hollywood, smack in the middle of gay porn central. You can't hit your local Starbucks without running into a gay porn star who, in last night's DVD performance, helped you whack off. Get Your Fixxx is packed with hotties like Josh Weston, Max Schutler, Chad Hunt, Brett Mathews, Maxx Diesel, Adam Faust, and dozens of others. So they have a lot of sizzling men, they just need to work on their presentation.

Thankfully Get Your Fixxx dumped the peacock blue in most of member's area and carried the dark graffiti wall inside. And it's pretty hot. The navigation is pretty simple giving you the choice of searching for your favourite guy or cruising through the videos in the order they were added. Each model has a bio page along with several screen grabs from his video. The videos themselves are only available in Flash format. This shouldn't be a problem because most surfers have Flash installed on their computers, but many of you may have to install Flash first. Still not a big deal because it is free and easy to install.

The best part of Get Your Fixxx is the men themselves. If you like gay porn stars, you'll be happy here. There are 88 gay porn stars on the site. And they range from the boyish cute Jason Crew and "Dicks of Hazard" Tyler to hairy muscle men like Adam Faust; nasty men like Dillon Press, and muscle beefcake guys like Chad Donovan and Maxx Diesel. There really is something for everyone in the casting department. And for a fairly new site, Get Your Fixxx does have a good selection of videos – 88 in all, with screen grab galleries.

The photo galleries of Get Your Fixxx were disappointing. The galleries are filled with screen grabs from the videos, so the quality isn't great. It doesn't take a lot of effort to run pictures through Photoshop's de-interlace filter and remove the scan lines that plague most screen grabs, and this little bit of extra effort would have helped improve the photos.

The movies themselves, although offered in three different sizes, were also disappointing. I found them overly pixelated and interlaced. I would suggest that Get Your Fixxx not worry so much about bandwidth costs and produce higher-quality videos for members. They're not horrible and they are watchable, but the lack of clarity is a bother. And just a warning: if you're wanting to jack off quietly while your lover sleeps in the bedroom, make sure you turn the volume down before starting one of their videos – you'll blast him out of a sound sleep with the loud, intro dance music at the beginning of each video.

Get Your Fixxx was a disappointment. They definitely have a hot line-up of guys and men and it held out such promise. But the poor quality pictures and mediocre video quality aren't going to help getting you off. In an age when monitors are becoming larger and high-speed access ubiquitous, there's no reason for lousy image quality. In fact videos and photos are getting dimensionally bigger, and some Internet gay porn videos are surpassing DVD quality. If Get Your Fixxx were to overhaul their entire catalogue and improve the quality, they would have a fantastic site on their hands, and I'd be falling all over myself to keep ahead of the hot men.
