I love Buk Buddies. I recently rediscovered this site a couple of weeks back, and I have to say that it's one of the few gay porn sites that truly got me really excited. First of all, there's always something exciting about watching amateur guys doing their thing for the first time. I get endlessly bored with the airbrushed and perfect models and over-produced porn movies that come out of the major gay porn studios. So watching regular guys – amateur guys – is a real turn-on.
When I got into the member's area, I started clicking around on the guys who really captured my eye. After a half an hour of clicking, I thought, "Okay, just then one more guy, and then, I'll start writing the review." Before I knew it, another half an hour had passed. I couldn't stop. Finally, I had to put my foot down, otherwise I'd be lost in this site all night.
I see a lot of gay porn sites that claim to bring us straight guys. But few of them deliver like Buk Buddies does. I can't tell you how tired I am of yet another straight guy sitting on a couch jacking off – if the guy is even really straight. But Buk Buddies is by far one of the hottest sites I've seen in a long while. One of the first things you'll notice about these straight guys is their rawness. You're not going to find polished and pumped porn stars masquerading as amateurs here. These guys are photographed in all their raw and rough glory – unmanicured feet, untrimmed pubes, baggy unbranded underwear, callouses, unshaved faces, unplucked eyebrows, even a little grit under their nails. It's as if the photographer of Buk Buddies walked into a college dorm, banged on a door, and when a guy answered the door in baggy boxers, the photographer started shooting. If the guy was wearing dirty socks, so be it; if there was clothes on the floor, who cares; if the guy had just finished a sweaty workout, all the better.
And the Buk Buddies guys are hot. There's somethings deliciously exciting about a straight guy and all his awkwardness, getting naked for the first time in front of a camera. Some of them were natural performers, but others were like the proverbial deer in the headlights. - Navigation & Design
- Even the design of Buk Buddies screams "amateur." The guy who runs this site isn't interested in wowing us with flashy graphics or a neatly designed site. Buk Buddies is messy and haphazard. There's no problems getting around the site, but you're not going to find neat rows of uniformed thumbnails where everything is balanced. The guy who runs Buk Buddies is a photographer, not a website designer. And he shoots amazing content. I'm not sure if I'd actually recommend Buk Buddies redesign their site because the design itself adds to the amateur charm of the content. Every page brings something new, a different way of presenting things, a new hot guy. Streamlining the design might actually make the site seem more mass-produced or templated. And regardless of the design, the top navigation easily keeps you on track.
The photos on the site are a good size and they're clear. They're proper photos and not screen grabs from the movies. The videos themselves are available in Windows Media Video and Flash. And there are also g- and x-rated versions. The movies can be watched on the site or downloaded. And if there's a particular guy you really like, you can even purchase his movies on DVD.
- Standout Features
- Buk Buddies gets absolute top marks for ingenuity and creativity. You can tell that Buk Buddies is run by someone who loves what they're doing. He loves straight guys and he loves bringing them to his members. And each guy is presented in a new and different way. Like I said earlier, you're not going to find a couple of hundred video clips of guys sitting on their sofas pumping their meat. Let me take you on a little tour.
I visited a gallery called Horny Hick Brothers featuring a pair of twin brothers. As the photo essay opens, one brother is wearing a plaid shirt and jeans, the other army fatigues. Then the guys start horsing around in the yard, play wrestling. They strip out of their clothes and ride around on a tractor in the nude. They're comfortable with their nudity, and one brother has his arm wrapped around the other. They even lie next to one another in a nude sunbathing scene; one brother lying his head on the other's six pack. And then each of the brothers does a solo jack off scene.
There's another scene with a group of four straight guys running around naked and horsing around in the snow. Five naked straight guys ride a gigantic inner tube down a river; three other guys are washing up in a river, each one wearing a pair of white, one-piece long johns; lots of the guys are featured working out. Others are playing with a basketball, sunning themselves in the yard, or just walking around naked in the woods.
And Buk Buddies does a couple of consistent things in their videos and photographs – naked guys with their legs in the air exposing their butts, and hands-free cum shots. There's something really hot about watching a straight guy hoisting his legs in the air and showing off his fuck hole, except you know you'd never get near it. That's the ultimate tease. And I also really enjoyed watching a number of the guys doing a hands-free cum shot. The photographer gets these poor horny bastards so close, and then, when they're ready to shoot they have to stop pumping their cocks. It's a bit frustrating for the guys because they don't get to blast one like they want to, but it's super hot for us to watch their cocks dancing with cum oozing out of their piss slits. - Negatives
- I don't know that I have much negative to say about Buk Buddies. Even their clumsy navigation and design draws you in deeper to explore the site, and you see things you might otherwise gloss over. So while I tend to like things neat and tidy and designed to Virgo perfection, I kind of liked the haphazard display of Buk Buddies. But in some respects some of their navigation and design could be improved upon. For instance, their video archive is text based, so you never really know what you're going to see until you see it and some of the videos require a second entry of login and password, while others do not.

- Buk Buddies is one of those sites that you're going to want to join and maintain a membership. You'll be waiting with cum towel and lube in hand for the next photo set and video. And you'll be in awe of the guys.
